New novel portrays a treasure hunt filled with adventure, action, and mystery

“The Paragon: A Quest Begins” takes the reader and the main character on an trail of clues where the ultimate goal is a mysterious treasure. All along the way, a ruthless villain and his henchmen seek the same treasure.

The story takes place in the 1880s, a time dominated by the Sherlock Holmes detective stories, the industrial revolution, and technological innovations such as the light bulb. Samuel Wallis, known as Sam, is a young man in his late twenties who leads an uninteresting life. One day his life changes, never to be the same again. He is invited to an old mansion in the depths of a dark forest. There, he learns that his grandfather left him a will. One condition of the will is that he must find a rare and mysterious treasure. Following a trail of clues left by his intrepid grandfather, Sam must find the treasure before a dangerous assassin and his henchmen do. His journey is filled with adventure, action, and danger as he hurries to reach the end of the trail and to obtain the enigmatic treasure.

“The Paragon, grips the reader with…vivid descriptions and verbal imagery interwoven with the element of suspense. … A book that is very difficult to put down!” said Peter, a satisfied reader.

Inspired by other works of adventure and mystery such as Matthew Reilly’s “Seven Deadly Wonders”, Clive Cussler’s “The Chase”, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories, the novel is distinct from others in that it takes the reader into a world where anything is possible. Danger lies just around every corner, nothing is predictable, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. The novel features memorable characters, vivid descriptions, heart-pounding action, intrigue, mystery, and adventure. It is written to entertain while addressing issues faced in the world today.

“The Paragon: A Quest Begins” is available for sale online at Amazon.com.
